Lesson 22 – Painting Forest Birds

Forest birds come in many shapes and sizes, yet we can go about drawing and painting them in similar ways.

Beaks and legs give many artists difficulty yet there is a simple process to get them done. Think of their wings and legs, similar to your arms and legs.

Dark wings and feet have reflections of blue and white within them.

In this painting lesson, we will paint a native Hawaiian honeycreeper, called an ‘I‘wi.

Happy Painting!
